Through a partnership with Gwinnett County Public Schools and RoadWise America, the SafeStart Seminar will begin a pilot program spring, 2008 at selected high schools.  Following in fall semester 2008 all 15 high schools will be included.  The seminars is a two (2) hour high impact parent education program designed to help parents understand the importance and the responsibilities of better preparing their teen drivers to operate an automobile.  The seminars are held on each campus in the evening and are free of charge.


Any student wanting to park on their high school campus fall 2008 will receive “priority status” when applying for their parking permit after their parent attends the seminar.
